Contract: 12 months (with potential extension based on performance) Client: A leading multinational telecommunications company – Motorola Overview: As a Localization Engineer – PC, you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation. Responsibilities * Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles. * Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows. * Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets. * Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues. * Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation. * Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred. * 2–4+ years in localization engineering, or related technical role. * Knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML, CSV). * **Familiarity with scripting (Python)** * **Experience with Linux bash terminal** * **Knowledge in pipeline automation** * Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
