Laboratory Assistant

**Employment Type:** -------------------- Full time **Shift:** ---------- Day Shift **Description:** ================ **Position Summary**:   To apply and contribute to the St. Joseph’s Health mission and values in performing a variety of clinical laboratory procedures related to receiving and/or processing specimens in the Laboratory by following established procedures and protocols. Responsibilities include receiving **and** patient registration duties or special skills sets determined by the Manager.   **Required Qualifications:**   1.  High School diploma required.  2\. Bachelors Degree in Science 3.  Familiar with technology related to practice in assigned section 4.  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills **Preferred Qualifications:**   1\. Two years minimum of clinical lab experience 2\. Pay Range: $21.75 - $28.10 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
