To learn more about the “Montefiore Difference” – who we are at Montefiore and all that we have to offer our associates, please click [here](http://www.mymontebenefits.com/montefiore-difference).   **Position Summary:** Monitor accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing complex chemical, biological, hematological , immunological and microscopic tests. **Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** * Provide training * Check competencies * Document fair and objective performance evaluation * Participating in Quality Improvement activities * Review of all critical values **Required Background:** * NYSED license required/Laboratory Technologist Certification * Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Biology or Chemistry required * Minimum of six years’ recent experience as a Medical Technologist * Prior experience in a leadership role * Lab Science understanding of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Banking and Microbiology.
