Lead Engineer - Backend Developer

******Job Description Summary****** =================================== Reporting to the Software Tools Team Manager, the successful candidate will participate in the development of applications (Micro services + NodeJS/C#/C++) used to set up and configure relays. **Job Description** =================== **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and test high-performance quality software used to setup and configure relays, optimize code in terms of speed and memory usage. * Work with Product Leaders to understand product requirements and with a cross-functional team to review technical specifications and understand needs of non-technical users. * Apply refactoring techniques to improve and extend the capabilities in the existing code base. * Create specifications, test plans and documentation. * Use AI as a standard tool and mid set from specification, Dev, test * Acting efficiently through teams, eliminating duplications and taking advantage of the reuse of products and technology. * Being a reference of quality in product development and support. * Develop coding that meets standards and offers the desired functionality using the technology chosen for the project. * Being fully transparent when sharing information with the team; collaborate smoothly with your colleagues located in multiple time zones. **Qualifications and experience:** * **NodeJS, Dotnet/C++** expertise, 10+ years of hands-on experience. * Experience with **RestAPI** (Swagger), WebSocket, MQTT, Docker. * Hands-on experience working with the TCP/IP and SSH network protocols. * Experience with security software and software security toolkit libraries, * 5+ years of experience with **Postgres** * **Multithreaded programming**. * Microservice development design pattern (interface/contract.) * Experience in development using **AI** (Claude/Copilot…) * Deep analytical skills to catch errors, understand adoption, scalability and performance. * The ability to identify and apply software design patterns. **Eligibility requirements:** * A good level of English and a valid work permit * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. * Experience in AI will be a differentiator ******Additional Information****** ================================== **Relocation Assistance Provided:** Yes
