Job responsibilities include: * Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with EHS standards, regulations, and plant guidelines. * Lead capital and engineering projects up to $5M from concept through commercialization. * Design, develop, and optimize tissue converting equipment and manufacturing processes. * Apply engineering and project management principles to improve operational performance and reliability. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues using root-cause analysis. * Partner with operations, maintenance, reliability teams, and external vendors to achieve business objectives. * Develop innovative solutions that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and process efficiency. * Provide occasional on-call technical support as needed. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution required. * 3+ years of technical and/or operational experience; recent graduates with relevant internship, co-op, or industry experience will also be considered. * Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, machine safety, mechanical design, automation controls, project execution, asset management, technical documentation, and Lean manufacturing principles. * A demonstrated ability to work independently or to lead a team to complete projects within required timeframes. * Collaborative work style with the ability to improve teamwork and drive results. **Preferred** **Qualifications** * Strong knowledge and background in Manufacturing/production including a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process, * 5+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments. * Experience working with external technical service suppliers. * Process Technologies: Merging Tissue-making Applications contributing to Converting Processes. * Winding and Web Handling experience. * OEM Equipment Design. **Led by Purpose. Salary Range: 87,260 – 107,780 USD At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
