* Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
* Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of plant equipment, including conveyors, crushers, screening systems, and rotating equipment.
* Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work while providing technical guidance and support to maintenance team members.
* Conduct inspections, analyze equipment performance, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and equipment life.
* Oversee equipment installations, alignments, and major repair projects, ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards.
* Collaborate with operations, contractors, and maintenance personnel to coordinate planned outages and resolve unplanned equipment issues.
* Train and mentor maintenance employees on best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and safe work procedures.
* Promote and enforce company safety policies while fostering a strong safety-first culture throughout the operation.
**What Are We Looking For**
* Extensive experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coordinate work, provide direction, and mentor team members.
* Strong knowledge of conveyors, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other heavy industrial equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
* Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safe work practices.
* Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and effectively lead maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.
**Conditions of Employment**
* Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
**Work Environment**
* Role operates primarily in environments where conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, elevated noise levels, dust, and varying terrain.
* Requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
