Job Description
Join Clario, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific and help shape the delivery of innovative electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) solutions that support clinical trials around the world. As a Lead Project Manager within our eCOA business unit, you will lead complex global studies while providing leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to Project Management team members. You will serve as a strategic partner to sponsors and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence while driving operational consistency, team development, and exceptional customer experiences. This India-based role supports U.S. customers and project teams and requires regular working hours aligned with the U.S. East Coast (Eastern Time Zone).

**What You'll Be Doing**
* Lead, mentor, and develop Project Management team members by fostering core competencies, professional growth, and career development opportunities.
* Ensure appropriate training, onboarding, and development activities are completed and documented in accordance with company standards.
* Review project documentation, system configurations, and study deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with applicable SOPs and quality requirements.
* Conduct routine team meetings to facilitate communication, monitor workloads, provide operational guidance, and support forecasting activities.
* Track, analyze, and report key team performance metrics and operational indicators.
* Independently lead the planning, setup, monitoring, and closeout phases of complex eCOA studies and programs.
* Gather customer requirements and translate study needs into actionable plans for cross-functional operational teams.
* Develop, review, and maintain study documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee the distribution, tracking, and management of study devices and associated equipment.
* Create, review, and distribute study reports, metrics, and communications to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure proper archival of study data, documentation, and project records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Establish and manage customer expectations through proactive communication, strategic partnership, and stakeholder management.
* Monitor study timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
* Manage financial aspects of assigned programs, including budget reviews, revenue forecasting, scope management, and invoice reconciliation activities.
* Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues appropriately to support successful project delivery.
* Lead internal and external discussions, negotiations, and stakeholder communications to support contractual obligations and project objectives.
* Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to address customer concerns, operational challenges, and project escalations.
* Maintain issue tracking documentation and ensure timely resolution of client and project-related concerns.
* Serve as a subject matter expert and operational resource for cross-functional teams and cross-trained personnel.
* Support strategic initiatives, operational readiness activities, new product introductions, and process improvement programs within the eCOA business unit.
* Present eCOA services and operational workflows during investigator meetings, site initiation meetings, business development discussions, and client presentations.
* Support departmental growth through training, coaching, onboarding, and mentoring of new Project Management team members.
**What We Look For**
* Bachelor's degree and demonstrated Project Management expertise within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or related industry.
* 5 to 10 years of experience in project management with increasing responsibility in clinical research, healthcare technology, or pharmaceutical services.
* Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing team members.
* Strong understanding of the drug development process and clinical trial lifecycle.
* Experience managing technology-enabled clinical trials, eCOA, ePRO, eConsent, RTSM/IRT, or related eClinical solutions is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to manage complex global studies, budgets, timelines, risks, and customer relationships simultaneously.
* Strong financial management capabilities, including forecasting, budget management, invoicing, and scope control.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
* Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
* Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and highly responsive in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to influence decisions, drive operational excellence, and contribute to strategic business objectives.
