This position supports agency attorneys and administrators with the regulatory enforcement of peace officers and private security standards. The ideal candidate manages legal files, formats state compliance documents, and interfaces professionally with Oklahoma state agencies, and the public. **Key Responsibilities** * **Certification & Compliance Support:** Assist in reviewing, processing, and maintaining legal case files regarding peace officer certification, suspensions, or revocations. * **Document & Hearing Preparation:** Draft, proofread, and format administrative orders, subpoenas, and correspondence for disciplinary hearings under the guidance of legal counsel. * **Record Management & Data Entry:** Maintain organized physical and digital legal archives using State of Oklahoma databases to track open investigations and case statuses. * **Open Records Requests:** Log Oklahoma Open Records Act requests from law enforcement agencies or the public. * **Front-line Communication:** Act as an on-site point of contact for legal inquiries, routing calls from law enforcement personnel and scheduling regulatory hearings. **Qualifications & Skills** * **Education:** High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certificate in legal studies or criminal justice is preferred. * **On-Site Requirement:** Willingness to work full-time at the CLEET main campus in Ada, OK. * **Technical Proficiency:** Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a general comfort learning state database software. * **State Agency Adaptability:** Ability to learn and follow [CLEET administrative rules](https://oklahoma.gov/cleet/peace-officers-training/peace-officer-jobs.html), Oklahoma statutory requirements, and strict open-government standards. * **Discretion & Ethics:** Exceptional integrity and capability to handle highly sensitive, confidential personnel records and law enforcement internal investigations. **Compensation and Benefits** * Salary range $42,000.00 to $50,000.00 * Comprehensive State of Oklahoma benefits package included. **Equal Opportunity Employment** The State of Oklahoma is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of genetic information, race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability.
