**Overview:**
The Legal Fellow will support the legal team by conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with legal operations. This role offers hands-on experience in various areas of healthcare law, providing exposure to real-world legal matters in a professional setting.
* Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on a wide range of legal topics
* Assist in reviewing, organizing, and summarizing legal documents and contracts
* Support litigation efforts, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
* Attend meetings, hearings, or depositions when applicable
* Maintain and update legal files and databases
* Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the organization
* Perform tasks to support special legal projects as needed
**Education:**
* Must be a graduate of an accredited law school within the previous 12 months, and be eligible to take the July Bar Exam in Virginia.
* Juris Doctor (Required)
