Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include **Benchmark**, **General Catalyst**, **Peter Thiel**, **Adam D'Angelo**, **Larry Summers**, and **Jack Dorsey**. **Position:** Legal Expert **Type:****Contract** **Compensation:****$70–$120/hour** **Location:****Remote** ### Role Responsibilities * Review and QA **AI-agent rollouts** by verifying agent answers against actual dockets, ensuring accuracy in case details and outcomes. * Identify failure modes by analyzing agent performance and flagging tasks that are too simple or solvable without **PACER**. * Improve realism and difficulty of tasks to reflect authentic federal docket research, enhancing challenge for capable agents. * Update grading guidance to ensure accuracy, focusing on correct answers and identifying errors such as misread procedural posture. * Catch plausible-but-wrong answers that might be overlooked by non-expert reviewers. ### Qualifications **Must-Have** * **Frequent hands-on **PACER / CM/ECF** use for federal docket research in your current or recent role, weekly or more.** * ****2+ years** in federal litigation support: litigation paralegal, docket/court clerk, legal-research librarian, or litigator.** * **Ability to read a federal docket on sight, decode a case number, trace procedural posture, and recognize case types.** * **Proficiency with **PACER** search mechanics and name-variant traps.** * **Sound judgment on correct, complete answers with confidence to mark plausible answers wrong.** ### **Preferred** * **Experience with bankruptcy dockets and complex/multidistrict litigation.** * **Hands-on experience across multiple courts.** ### **Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)** * **Upload resume** * **AI interview based on your resume** * **Submit form** ### **Resources & Support** * **For details about the interview process and platform information, please check:** * **For any help or support, reach out to:** **_PS: Our team reviews applications daily.
