Liaison

**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** * Serve as the primary communication link between the plant, corporate teams, and external stakeholders. * Facilitate customer and vendor interactions, including visit preparation, presentations, and follow-up actions. * Prepare, distribute, and track key communications, updates, and action items related to plant operations and initiatives. * Support plant startup, launch readiness, and production ramp-up activities. * Coordinate cross-functional meetings, plant reviews, customer visits, and audits. * Track open issues, risks, and countermeasures, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up. * Ensure customer requirements, standards, and expectations are clearly communicated to plant teams. * Assist with supplier coordination for materials, services, and operational needs. * Develop reports, dashboards, and summaries on plant performance, launch milestones, and key initiatives. * Maintain organized documentation for communications, compliance, and operational records. * Support leadership with scheduling, planning, and coordination of strategic activities. * Ensure plant operations comply with Adient policies, procedures, and automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO, and customer-specific requirements). * Support corrective actions related to audits, quality issues, or operational gaps. * Promote structured problem-solving and clear escalation paths across teams. **Qualifications & Skills:** * 3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, operations, project coordination, or plant support roles. * Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Experience in automotive plant startups, launches, or ramp-up environments. * Familiarity with OEM customer interactions and supplier coordination. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3), and quality systems. * Experience working in unionized or non-unionized manufacturing environments.
