Loan Officer

### Loan Officer **_Icon Lending,_** the affiliated mortgage company of **_Trumark Homes_**, is looking for a Loan Officer who is prepared to make a difference for customers looking to buy a home. The Loan Officer will be responsible for discussing the client's needs, recommending the best loan products, helping customers put together a complete loan package and working with the underwriting team throughout the loan process. ### **Loan Officer responsibilities** * Meet with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals. * Provide education and support to borrowers throughout the application, closing and post-closing. * Maintain an active knowledge base of all the organization’s available loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant * Identify and recommend products that meets the customer’s needs and the organization’s lending guidelines * Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to accelerate the process. * Maintain relevant professional licensing. ### Loan Officer Requirements * Active NMLS license preferred * Ability to organize and deliver Home Buyer Workshop presentations * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Teamwork and client service skills * Self-motivated and highly organized * Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks. * Math skills * Computer skills * Compensation: base $16.90 hourly with targeted earnings from $160K- $300K Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
