Logistics Specialist Lead

**Job Description:** **Logistics Specialist/Lead** ============================= **LOGISTICS B4-II**   Franklin, TN We’re looking for an individual contributor with recognized skills in a specialized role in the field of Distribution/Transportation.  **What are we looking for?**   Minimum * Bachelor's Degree **OR** * 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain​ * Excellent Verbal Communication ​ * Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives  ​ Preferred * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain * 1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing * Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch software **What will be your key responsibilities?**   * Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.  * Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role. * Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. * Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others. * Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area.
