Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include **Benchmark**, **General Catalyst**, **Peter Thiel**, **Adam D'Angelo**, **Larry Summers**, and **Jack Dorsey**. **Position:** Corporate Development Expert **Type:****Contract** **Compensation:****$85–$100/hour** **Location:****Remote** ### Role Responsibilities * Build valuation and merger models, including **three-statement**, **DCF**, trading and transaction comps, accretion-dilution, cap table, and equity waterfall. * Draft and compare transaction terms such as **IOIs**, **LOIs**, term sheets, bid comparisons, deal structure, and consideration economics. * Produce process and board materials, including management presentations, data packs, buyer universes, board and committee decks, closing mechanics, and funds flow. * Run screening, diligence, and integration work, including inbound deal screens, diligence request lists, findings synthesis, synergy models, carve-out analysis, and 100-day plans. * Work **independently and asynchronously** to deliver high-quality M&A exercises from mock files. ### Qualifications **Must-Have** * ****4+ years** in an in-house corporate development or M&A role at an operating company.** * **Hands-on ownership of live transactions end to end, not support work.** ### **Preferred** * **Investment banking or private equity background before moving in-house; Big 4 transaction advisory or financial due diligence.** ### **Assessment** * **A merger model from a mock target file; a term sheet comparison; a board-ready recommendation memo.** ### **Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)** * **Upload resume** * **AI interview based on your resume** * **Submit form** ### **Resources & Support** * **For details about the interview process and platform information, please check:** * **For any help or support, reach out to:** **_PS: Our team reviews applications daily.
