Job Description
**Key Responsibilities**
* Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
* Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards
* Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and efficiency
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Document production activities and report issues to leadership
* Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
* High school diploma or GED
* 2+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
* Experience with measurement tools and quality inspection processes
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
**Preferred:**
* Technical certification in machining or related field
* CNC programming or setup experience
