**Job Description:** **Senior Magnolia Full Stack Developer** **Employment Type:** Full-time **Experience Level:** Senior (5+ years) **About the Role** We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Magnolia CMS to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. You will work across the full stack — from backend module development and content modeling in Magnolia to building modern, performant frontend experiences — collaborating closely with architects, designers, and content teams to deliver scalable digital solutions. A key focus of this role is integrating Magnolia with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C to power content-driven commerce experiences. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain custom Magnolia modules, templates, components, and dialogs using Java and the Magnolia Content App framework * Build and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs to connect Magnolia with frontend applications and third-party systems * Develop responsive, performant frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) consuming Magnolia's headless content delivery APIs * Configure and customize Magnolia's content modeling, workflows, personalization, and multi-site/multi-language setups * Design and implement integrations between Magnolia and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C, including content/commerce data synchronization, page composition, and API-driven content delivery into the storefront * Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Magnolia deployments (on-prem or cloud) * Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into reusable, maintainable components * Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and uphold engineering best practices * Troubleshoot performance, security, and integration issues across the stack * Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions * Stay current with Magnolia upgrades, modules, and the broader Java/JavaScript ecosystem **Required Skills & Experience** * 5+ years of professional full stack development experience, with at least 2–3 years working directly with Magnolia CMS * Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Magnolia is built on Java/OSGi-like module architecture) * Hands-on experience with Magnolia's Content App, Light Modules / Light Development, STK or similar templating frameworks, and Freemarker/JSP templating * Solid frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular) * Experience consuming and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including Magnolia's Delivery and Content APIs for headless implementations * Proven experience integrating Magnolia with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C, including familiarity with SFRA/SiteGenesis, OCAPI/SCAPI, and patterns for combining commerce data with CMS-managed content * Familiarity with relational and/or JCR-based content repositories * Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Maven), and CI/CD pipelines * Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices * Experience deploying and maintaining Magnolia in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Magnolia Cloud) is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an agile environment **Nice to Have** * Magnolia certification(s) * Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer certification * Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments * Familiarity with DAM (Digital Asset Management) integrations * Experience with personalization/A-B testing tools integrated with Magnolia * Prior experience leading a small development team or owning architecture decisions **Education** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) **Location:** DGS India - Pune - Indiqube Orchid **Brand:** Merkle **Time Type:** Full time **Contract Type:** Permanent
