Manager Breeder Operations

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ **SUMMARY:**   The Breeder Operations Manager directs and coordinates the Breeder Operations in the assigned area.  **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following: * Directs Breeder Department operations to ensure the required quantity and quality of hatch eggs are available for hatcheries * Implements and monitors all pullet and breeder production programs * Directs programs for growing pullets and breeders for all contract growers * Monitors the development of all contract pullet and breeder growers as well as the development of the pullet placements, moves, vaccinations and sales to ensure proper hatch egg numbers * Reports performance and cost numbers to accounting and upper management * Provides oversight and management of Assistant Breeder Manager and Service Tech team * Other duties as assigned **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This position will have supervisory responsibility. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** * **Required** * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent & relevant experience AND 5+ years in poultry or related field * Previous supervisory experience * **Preferred** * Previous Management experience _George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
