**It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!** Job Description:  **Manager, Global Platform Technology - ITAD** As **Manager**, **Global Platform Technology,** you will lead distributed engineering teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with **business priorities across the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and reverse logistics business**. You will be a strong partner to Business and Product leaders, driving execution, collaboration, operational excellence, and engineering performance in a fast-paced environment. **Your Role** * Lead, mentor, and develop **distributed engineering teams with direct reports**, fostering ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. * Partner closely with **Business, Product, and Technology leaders** to translate business priorities into clear engineering objectives and successful outcomes. * Drive end-to-end delivery, managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and commitments with strong **ownership and accountability**. * Establish effective **onshore/offshore communication and collaboration**, ensuring transparency, alignment, and seamless execution across locations. * Leverage **Jira and Confluence** for delivery planning, backlog management, documentation, reporting, and team collaboration. * Own and continuously improve **incident management and production support processes**, ensuring timely resolution, effective escalation, root-cause analysis, and prevention of recurring issues. * Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Support teams to improve **production stability, system reliability, and operational efficiency**. * Lead teams delivering **high-volume, user-facing web applications** that are scalable, reliable, secure, and performant. * Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership, clearly articulating status, risks, issues, and business impact. * Lead by example with a **can-do attitude**, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership of challenging situations. * Thrive in a **high-paced, dynamic environment**, effectively managing multiple priorities and delivering against aggressive timelines. **What You Bring** * **8+ years of experience** in software engineering, technology, or enterprise IT. * **2+ years of experience managing engineering teams with direct reports**, preferably in a distributed/onshore-offshore model. * Proven experience managing **incident management, production support, problem management, and service reliability**. * Experience building and supporting **high-volume, user-facing applications** at enterprise scale. * Prior experience with major technology platforms such as **.NET, Java, Python and/or** other similar programming language. * Experience with **cloud-native technologies and architectures** on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other major cloud providers. * Strong **database knowledge and troubleshooting skills**, with the ability to guide teams through complex technical and production issues. * Strong experience leading geographically distributed teams with excellent **onshore/offshore communication and collaboration** skills. * Proven ability to partner effectively with **Business, Product, and Technology stakeholders**. * Strong expertise with **Jira and Confluence**. * Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. * Strong ownership mindset with a demonstrated **"can-do" attitude and lead-by-example leadership style**. * Ability to operate effectively in a **high-paced environment**, manage ambiguity, and deliver results under pressure.
