Franciscan Health takes pride in hiring coworkers that provide compassionate, comprehensive care for our patients and the communities we serve.   **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT** * Manage a busy Surgical Pre-Op and Post-Op recovery unit * Prepare, manage and control budget, monitor and analyze variances. * Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements. * Complete performance appraisal of staff members. * Quality compliance. * Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.  **QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care - Required * Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO. - Required * 5 years Nursing/Patient Care - Required * 2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills -Preferred * Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice - Required * Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required * Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months - Preferred * Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit: * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - **Required** * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics Required if required by unit **TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:** Never or Rarely **EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER** It is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
