Join a highly motivated team in India, where local expertise meets the global knowledge and values of the Plansee Group. **TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES** * Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and at optimised cost. * Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet demand. * Ensure that production meets highest quality standards and specifications. * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, including unionized workmen. * Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. * Address and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise within the team. * Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Utilize lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize resources. * Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed. * Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. * Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPIs. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation **PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS** * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in precision cutting tools and total experience should not be less than 15 years. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency in production planning.
