Job Posting Title: Manager, Publishing/Digital Experiences Req ID: 10158554 Job Description: **Job Summary:** * Manage and develop licensing business in publishing/digital category containing physical/digital publishing, learning products, and digital products capitalizing on Disney/Marvel/Star Wars/20th Century/National Geographics properties. * Understand market requirements and identify appropriate products with most appropriate launch timing, business models and licensees/partners who have expertise in their field of business. * Develop and negotiate deals with licensees/partners and manage product and marketing approvals for the licensees. **Responsibilities:** * Drive and grow the business with sales target. * Analyze market conditions in order to identify trends and key success factors to grow the business. * Propose new ideas to licensees or new business partners. Lead deal negotiations to close them successfully. * Responsible in working closely with licensees and develop Annual Operating Plan/5 year Plan forecast, ensuring goals and targets are to be achieved according to the plan. * Manage daily contacts with licensees * Contract negotiations * Sales update, analysis and forecasting * Minutes of key meetings and negotiations * Product and marketing approval management * Proposal of new products and contents * Develop strategic plans, reflecting both short term and long term opportunities and risks in the market. * Communicate with global and local counterparts and be always up to date on global product and/or concept availability and contents. * Report business progress to Director regularly as well as ad hoc reports. **Requirements:** * 3－5 years of experiences in publishing market and/or digital market and/or IP business. * First-hand experience with the following not an absolute requirement but preferred. * Sales experience in Publishing category and/or licensing business. * Product development experience in publishing category and/or digital category. * New business development. * At least 3 years of project management experience involving 3 or more stakeholders. * IP and rights management experience. * Native level fluency in Japanese, and business level communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required * Sense of commitment and responsibility to one’s business responsibilities with passion * Understanding of company priorities, and how one’s business responsibilities tie into them * Good communication skills particularly in negotiation, leadership and interpersonal relationships * Bachelor's Degree or above * Strategic Thinker * Analytical Skills * Self-Starter Job Posting Segment: APAC - Publishing Job Posting Primary Business: Regional (APAC) Primary Job Posting Category: Pub-Cmization Employment Type: Full time Primary City, State, Region, Postal Code: Minato-ku, Japan Alternate City, State, Region, Postal Code: Date Posted: 2026-08-24
