We offer:** * **Full time work with stable hours -** Family owned business * Weekly paychecks - **Get paid every Thursday!** * **Bonuses** \- sign on bonus, quarterly performance bonuses, referral bonuses, profit sharing bonus * **Full Benefits package** \- medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match up to 7%, all starting **within 31 days** * **Pride - we make products that build, feed & defend America!** * Paid vacation time + 10 company holidays * All uniforms & PPE provided - yes, even your steel-toe boots! * Our culture - **we prioritize safety**, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement * **Growth opportunities** \- Tuition reimbursement, apprenticeship programs, professional development, GED program * Fun team events like family picnics & holiday parties * Discount programs - cell phones, travel, automotive, and more! **4 Positions Available** at Charter Casting — 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Molding Operator | 1st Shift (10-hour shifts, Mon-Thur, 6am-4pm) | $23/hr** * Operate molding machines and set cores * Assemble and prepare sand molds for pouring * Inspect and prepare all patterns, set up mold production * Coordinate & communicate with melt and molding lines * Quality inspections on castings and patterns * Maintain a clean workspace, ladle repairs, and prepare for next production run **Melt Deck Operator | 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) |** **$27/hr** * Transport melting materials and supplies; * Operate melting furnace charging equipment * Learn to operate the melting furnaces.   * Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck. * Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers. * Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area. **Core Operator | 1st (12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm) | $23/hr** * Make and prepare sand cores using molds to form holes or hollows in iron castings. Including set up, adjustments, and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment. * Enter settings into computer system * Review process sheets and inspect conditions of cores * Complete preventative maintenance as required **Grinding Operator | 1st shift (10-hour days, Monday to Thursday, 4am - 2pm) | $23/hr** * Grind iron castings to specifications * Use power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders * Perform wheel changes * Record data & complete paperwork * Prior machine shop experience is a plus! **What You Bring:** * 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field * Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement * High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!) * Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs * Basic math and problem solving skills Charter Casting is formally Charter Aarrowcast #CharterCasting #ManufacturingJobs We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing.
