Marketing Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Marketing Professional to support our external communications, social media presence, and event activities. This is a hands-on execution role focused on PR coordination, content creation, social media management, and marketing operations. You will help shape how the company is represented publicly and support visibility in the AI and robotics ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Support execution of company announcements (product launches, hiring updates, milestones) - PR & Communications Support - Coordinate with PR agencies and media contacts - Assist with drafting press materials and external messaging - Support interview scheduling and communication logistics - Maintain basic media contact lists and outreach tracking Social Media Management - Manage company social media accounts - Create and schedule regular posts (company updates, product insights, hiring, culture) - Maintain a consistent content calendar - Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements Content & Marketing Operations - Support creation of marketing materials such as: - Company overview decks - Website content updates - Basic visual and copy coordination with designers - Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels Events & Coordination - Support planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and meetups - Coordinate logistics and event materials (slides, brochures, booth assets) - Assist with vendor coordination (design, printing, event production) External Resource Coordination - Work with freelancers and external agencies (design, PR, content) - Track deliverables and timelines - Help ensure brand consistency across outputs Qualifications Required - Proven experience in marketing, communications, PR, or social media - Strong writing and communication skills in English - Experience managing social media platforms - Strong attention to detail and execution ability - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Preferred - Experience in tech, startup, AI, robotics, or SaaS industries - Familiarity with PR or media coordination - Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar tools) - Experience supporting events or conferences - Understanding of B2B marketing or startup environments Success in This Role Looks Like: - Consistent and high-quality social media presence - Smooth execution of company announcements and PR activities - Well-organized marketing content and materials - Successful support of industry events and external visibility efforts DEFAULT BENEFITS: - Health insurance - Vision care - Dental coverage: - 401(k) - Paid holidays - PTO (Paid Time Off) - Sick leave
