Marketing Executive

**Job Summary** A front-line marketing representative, who qualifies leads, provides guest service and generates tour flow by performing the following duties. **Generic Expected Contributions** * Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones. * Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk. * Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff. * Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by: * identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes. * providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution. * participating in setting department operating plans. * recognizing and celebrating team successes. * achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility. * Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. * Performs other duties as appropriate. **Specific Expected Contributions** * Positively represent the Company at any location assigned. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and any other third-party company employees. * Provide concierge services to all resort guests and members in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach. * Provide excellent guest services, including accurate tourist information of the region. * Inspire confidence in the Company through professionalism. * Determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training. * Attract eligible guests to preview the Company vacation club program using premiums (gifts). * Fully inform and confirm every guest about the sales presentation, according to the standards described in training. * Create curiosity about the vacation club and encourage guests to tour with an open mind. * Complete the administrative work behind booking, manifesting, and confirming each sales presentation. * Attend all mandatory meetings and training. * Complete special projects as assigned by Marketing Supervisor. **Generic Candidate Profile** Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows: Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required. **Specific Candidate Profile** * High School Diploma required. * Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing. * Bilingual, ability to speak English and Spanish, fluently. * Demonstrate an ability to deliver high level of customer service in all situations. * Demonstrate the ability to build and develop strong work and guest relationships. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely, and answers telephones using clear and professional language. * Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of others. * Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods or for an entire work shift. Ability to climb stairs. * Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance. * Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
