Marketplace System Analyst

**Job Type:** Permanent **Build a brilliant future with Hiscox**   **Responsibilities:** We are in the BAU stage of a journey to transform our approach to procurement right across our business, including a multi-year programme to implement a market leading iValua Source to Pay system (Marketplace MP) enterprise wide.  The Technology System Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation, optimisation, and ongoing development of MP. This individual acts as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, with a focus on maximising process efficiency and system reliability. To support this you will: * Have a deep understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes * Lead the analysis, configuration, and enhancement of P2P systems to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. * Oversee system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. * Collaborate with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and IT to gather requirements, document processes, and translate them into system solutions. * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert-level support to resolve complex problems. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of P2P technology trends, recommending innovations to enhance system capabilities. * Be the subject matter expert on Marketplace, including its administration and workflows * Responsible for maintaining system integrations via API’s inc DnB, Worldcheck, Avalara, EcoVadis, FSQS, Oracle and Workday. * Collaborate with external advisors on Marketplace implementation and learn product build/utilisation. * Oversee user access rights and license entitlements for iValua, ensuring a positive user experience. * Resolve performance issues with Marketplace, including escalation to iValua support if needed. * Support Marketplace release management cycles and recommend process improvements. **What would we like to see in you?** This role is well-suited to a proactive, detail-oriented professional eager to drive continuous improvement and deliver tangible value through technology-enabled solutions. **Skills/Capabilities:** * Extensive experience with P2P systems, specifically Ivalua. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for process optimisation. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Proven track record in managing system upgrades and change initiatives. * Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. * Dynamic and self-motivated style, with energy and ability to deliver at pace and drive improvements with an agile mindset * Strong organisational and project management skills to include a high level of PC literacy across the Microsoft Office suite.             _Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture_
