Master Craftsman Sheet Metal Technician

* Must be self-starter, detail-oriented and organized * Must be able to accept and follow directions * Working knowledge of general manufacturing/fabrication processes * Manufacture, assemble, install and re-work various aircraft structural components unsupervised * Familiar with the installation of various aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.​ * Ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings * Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment * Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned * Use of precision measuring devices such as calipers, height, depth, dial, and screw pitch gauges * Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures * Maintain tool control and accountability * Adhere to company policies and safety programs * Other duties as assigned **Education/Training:** * High School diploma or equivalent required * Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred **Experience:** * 10+ years of professional experience in the required task area required **Security:** * Must be a US citizen * Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required **Physical Requirements:** * Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery * Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls * Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements * Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery * Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task * Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time * Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) * Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) * Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) * Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) * Short Term & Long Term Disability * Training & Development * Wellness Resources **Salary:**  The projected salary range for this position is $60,000-85,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
