About the job: _We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Finance Techno-Functional Lead to support a major Finance Master Data transformation and SAP MDG implementation within a global healthcare organization._ _This is a manager-level, hands-on role that requires a strong combination of SAP Finance Master Data process knowledge and SAP MDG technical capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture, SAP ERP, integration, and implementation teams to design and deliver scalable Finance Master Data solutions._ _The role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end SAP MDG Finance workstream, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, data modeling, workflow design, integration, testing, migration, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization._ Main responsibilities: _SAP MDG Finance Solution Leadership_ * _Lead the techno-functional design and implementation of SAP MDG for Finance Master Data._ * _Serve as the primary subject matter expert for SAP MDG-F across business process, functional design, configuration, workflow, data model, and integration areas._ * _Translate Finance and Data Governance requirements into scalable SAP MDG solution designs._ * _Lead current-state assessments, fit-gap analysis, future-state process design, solution architecture, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization._ * _Ensure the SAP MDG solution aligns with Finance transformation objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and the SAP S/4HANA roadmap._ * _Review technical and functional designs produced by internal teams and implementation partners._ * _Identify opportunities to use standard SAP MDG capabilities and minimize unnecessary customization._ _Finance Master Data Expertise_ * _Provide techno-functional expertise across Finance Master Data domains, including:_ * _General Ledger Accounts_ * _Chart of Accounts_ * _Cost platforms._ * _Ensure alignment between master data structures and global Finance business processes._ _SAP MDG Configuration and Development_ * _Configure and enhance SAP MDG Finance processes, rule-based workflow routing based on master data type, business unit, geography, risk, and approval authority._ * _Define roles for Data Owners, Data Stewards, Finance Process Owners, Shared Services, and Technology teams._ * _Implement segregation-of-duties and approval controls within SAP MDG workflows._ * _Ensure workflow designs support auditability, regulatory expectations, and internal control requirements._ * _Develop escalation, rejection, rework, delegation, and exception-handling processes._ * _Support workflow monitoring and continuous optimization._ _Integration and Data Replication_ * _Design integration between SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Central Finance, consolidation, planning, reporting, and downstream applications._ * _Configure and support Finance Master attributes, relationships, and business rules._ * _Assess whether requirements should be addressed through configuration, data model extension, or custom development._ * _Ensure data model changes are scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards._ * _Develop clear functional and technical specifications for enhancements._ * _Review technical designs, code, and test results with development teams._ * _Ensure custom solutions follow SAP best practices and organizational development standards._ _Data Migration and Initial Load_ * _Lead the techno-functional aspects of Finance Master Data migration into SAP MDG and target ERP systems._ * _Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data-cleansing requirements, and validation controls._ * _Support data extraction, profiling, deduplication, enrichment, conversion, and reconciliation._ * _Work with migration teams to design initial-load and mass-upload approaches._ * _Support migration using SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services, custom upload programs, APIs, or other approved tools._ * _Validate loaded master data against business and technical acceptance criteria._ * _Support mock migrations, cutover rehearsals, production cutover, and post-load reconciliation._ * _Resolve data-quality and technical issues discovered during migration cycles._ _Data Quality and Controls_ * _Define and implement validation, derivation, completeness, uniqueness, and consistency rules for Finance Master Data._ * _Ensure rules are implemented at the appropriate stage of the SAP MDG process._ * _Support integration with enterprise data-quality and data-governance tools where applicable._ * _Define data-quality KPIs and operational monitoring reports._ * _Identify recurring data issues and recommend preventive controls._ * _Ensure Finance Master Data supports audit, compliance, and financial-control requirements._ * _Partner with Data Governance teams to align SAP MDG with teams._ About you: _Required Qualifications_ * _Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field._ * _10 or more years of experience in SAP, Finance Master Data, master data management, or enterprise applications._ * _Strong techno-functional experience with SAP Master Data Governance for Financials._ * _Experience leading or supporting at least one full-cycle SAP MDG Finance implementation._ * _Strong understanding of SAP FI and SAP CO processes and master data._ * _Hands-on experience with SAP MDG configuration, including change requests, workflow, data models, validations, derivations, and user interfaces._ * _Experience with BRFplus and rule-based workflow._ * _Experience with the Data Replication Framework and SAP master data replication._ * _Understanding of ABAP concepts and the ability to work effectively with ABAP development teams._ * _Experience defining Business Add-Ins, enhancements, interfaces, custom validations, and technical specifications._ * _Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA._ * _Experience with master data migration, data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation._ * _Strong understanding of data governance, data ownership, stewardship, and data-quality principles._ * _Experience working with integrations, APIs, IDocs, web services, or middleware platforms._ * _Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills._ * _Experience working in global transformation or multi-country implementation programs._ * _Strong
