Material Handler

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ **Position Overview** Material Handler is responsible for finding material on shelves, pulling materials off the trucks and putting them in their proper storage spot, wrapping products and making them ready for shipment. **Responsibilities** • Distribution of activities that are conducted in accordance with International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 while maintaining a safe work environment • Timely and efficient movement of materials to and from the production line to facilitate an efficient manufacturing process • Assure material movement and inventory changes are appropriately and precisely tracked • Operate machinery and perform minor adjustments or setup • Utilize RF scanner to maintain accurate inventory transfers from/to warehouse and/or manufacturing plant and to record number of units of material moved or handled during shift • Complete reports or inspection sheets as instructed • Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions (Adherence to FIFO Policies and Protocols) • Complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of measure, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials • Ability to use hand and/or power tools, such as (hammers, cutting saws, nail gun, etc.) • Identify different products and attached identifying tags or label to materials or mark information on pallets • Successfully complete power equipment certification • Follow and maintain Lead activities and 5S • Stage multiple orders for shipment according to appropriate loading patterns, weight distribution, method of shipment, etc. • Coordinate, process, and ship hazardous waste, scrap, etc., in accordance with regulatory requirements **Basic Qualifications** • High School Diploma, GED • Manufacturing experience • Forklift certification • Lift 50lbs plus _if you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!_
