**Job Role:**
The role will be to support creating & implementing new process & system designs in Master data management. This will be for all domains and all BU’s, by working closely with respective GPOs, BPEs, IT and BU Leads. In this de- merger journey, we will be implementing new tools and processes to ensure the ice cream way of working takes precedence. Hence, this role will support smooth implementation of MDG. This role will also support all the TSA exits leading upto steady state in future.
Your role will be to **support** the **demerger** via implementing first time right SAP MDG, **set up** & stabilize all **Masterdata** processes for all domains such as Customer, Vendor, Product, Material, Finance etc. in GBS. We are especially looking at Day 2 as a key timeline for BAU in all our systems and smooth implementation.
You will play a pivotal role in Masterdata strategy providing leadership, consultation and support (as necessary) to Businesses and Markets for governing MDM for multi domain (Customer, Vendor, Product, Finance, Material and others).
Once stabilized, you will ensure smooth leadership(& operation) of reporting teams and functional teams (post new tools migration and new process implementation).
You will ensure Master data strategy is implemented in letter and spirit, including alignment with partner teams like all the Functions, IT, Businesses, Zones and Regions (& partner organizations).
You will drive impact to the bottom and top line through innovative Negotiation approach with Suppliers.
You will co-drive compliance, contract and risk management for entire Masterdata team.
You are well known as a progressive MDM leader who likes to drive data driven decisions. Some familiarity of using AI/ML to improve data quality, will be a welcome additional capability.
Ability to drive data governance councils will be very important.
You will co-define, co-lead and co-drive implementation of performance KPIs for master data globally.
**What You'll Be Responsible For:**
* Support smooth implementation of new processes and systems for TMICC leading up-to Day 2. You will need to ensure business as usual on Day 2 when new SAP S/4 HANA and (more importantly) MDG will be implemented.
* In steady state, you will support setting up the data governance, strategy and operations of MDM in TMICC GBS.
* Master Data Management (MDM): To support define, set up and own the processes and systems leading upto Day 2 for TMICC separation from UL. You will also support transition and smooth operations of Masterdata management for all domains.
* Help to set up data product owners’ capability & data steward capability in GBS to support the relevant functional or regional domains.
* Data strategy, model & management: Ensure smooth implementation of data model, integration of data across platforms, and effective E2E data management (support in establishing single source of truth, data quality, data cleaning, fostering data availability in near real-time).
* Since GBS is operating in a hybrid model (both captive and outsource capabilities) in order to optimise our capabilities network, the role will be closely collaborated with external technology providers
* Support establishing clear linkage between MDM improvements and ROI for the business.
* The role will always support and drive continuous improvement and efficiency via process standardization, improvement, automation leveraging both internal and external capabilities.
**We're looking for someone who:**
* Proven 18 years+ experience in setting up master data management processes and systems (MDG specifically) for multinational companies
* Proven records in defining data strategy, transformation, organization restructuring and change management
* 8+ years of experience in MDG or similar tools is a must
* 15 years+ in leadership role in GBS or Business organization
* Familiar with the latest technologies in MDM
* Actively using latest AI/ML/Analytics technologies to improve MDM will be a plus
* Lean practitioner and/or green belt+ qualification
* 5 years+ experience in transition experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
* SSC/GBS experience preferred
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
* Strong technological & operational knowledge covering master data management
* Proven ability to drive automation- process orientation in a large complex organization
* Advanced knowledge of various data architecture and analysis methods and tools, e.g., SAP MDG, SAP BW, FIORI etc. But SAP MDG is a prerequisite.
* Operational understanding of applicable E2E processes across service units Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, etc.
* Ability to develop new creative concepts and then take them from the discovery phase through to delivery
* Passion for continuous improvement; challenging the status quo, efficient problem solving, driver of high performance
* Strong stakeholder management skills; able to effectively deal with resistance and conflicts, build strong relationships, and establish trust
* Demonstrated leadership skills; able to build, motivate and lead teams in an international context
* Program and project management skills are required
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, data management or computer science or tech fields.
* Master’s degree highly desirable. MS/MBA or equivalent
* Worked in various countries will be definite plus for thriving in TMICC environment
