Mechanical Designer

Lieu : Herstal, Belgium **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings 3D modeling * Creates 3D in Creo and 2D drawings in windchill for multiple product lines **Main tasks:** * Providing 3D models and 2D DRW’s according the general design rules (e.g; form & place tolerances, material indications, …) * Transforms initial rough product designs or sketches into working models and documents * Utilizes knowledge of various machining technologies, engineering best practices, mathematics, materials, … to complete drawings * Perform minor design updates or any necessary changes to existing models or drawings * Maintains/ adapts relationships of models and drawing files in an organized fashion * Aligns the development of 2D and 3D drawings with the design engineering lead **Profile:** * You have a bachelor degree, domain of mechanical engineering, with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a draftsman role * Preferably you live in a range of 45 min from the site of Herstal * Experience in Defence, Aerospace or Automotive industry is a plus * Experience with Creo and Windchill is mandatory * Self-motivated, taking ownership and driving topics to fulfill your deadlines * You are a team player, good interpersonal and communication skills * Fluent in French and proficient in English
