We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.   **Responsibilities:** * Provide front-line support by troubleshooting equipment issues and preparing cost-effective repair scopes for onsite and offsite maintenance within the Production Unit * Use risk reviews, HAZOPs, management of change processes, and other safety checks to improve equipment safety and reliability performance * Support major events and turnarounds with technical oversight, plan reviews, repair scopes, scope deviation guidance, and prompt responses to information requests * Investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and lead minor plant and equipment modifications * Develop technical evaluations for major equipment changes and projects using management of change and risk assessment * Complete fitness-for-service assessments and recommend repair, replacement, or return to service   **Location and other Key details:** * You will work out of our Suncor Base Plant located in Fort McMurray, AB * Your shift will be Monday to Friday * This position is safety sensitive * To learn more about living and working in Fort McMurray, [click here](https://www.fmwb.ca/live-work) **Think we are a fit?
