**Employment Type:** -------------------- Full time **Shift:** ---------- Day Shift **Description:** ================ **Position:** Medical Assistant (MA): Clinton North Health Plaza FP **Location:** Clinton, IA **Schedule:** 32 hours per week, Day shift, Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position will be primarily responsible for lab collection and lab testing. They will backfill the offices when available. **Required:** · Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program. · MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
