Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers. **Essential Functions** * 1\. Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center. \* Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames. * 2\. Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning). \* Rolling stock is clean and operational. * 3\. Maintains clerical records as needed. \* Log sheets are completed accurately and timely. * 4\. Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary. \* Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards. * 5\. Perform related duties as required. \* Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis. **Qualifications** * High School Required * 1-3 years 1 year of experience Required * Ability to read, write and comprehend English. * OHS Fit Test * OHS Annual Assessment Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
