Modeller – Roads & Highways Rail

* BTech minimum – Civil Engineering or Architecture (architecture preferred) * ACAD 2D knowledge * REVIT knowledge (advantageous) * Fluent in English * Interest in civil engineering structures – bridges, retaining walls, tunnels etc * Minimum 3 years of Experience * Demonstrate ability to layout drawings (to scale and presentation) with knowledge and understanding of what is expected to be shown on a type of Drawing (e.g GA, Pile Concrete, Pile rebar) * Demonstrate by limited number of rounds of markups all markups are “done right the first time * Demonstrate that based on sheets set up by the Revit Lead, modeller is able to: * Produce plan, elevations and sections with consideration of hidden/solid lines, scales and presentation of drawing, notes, etc * Knowledge of what scales details are to be shown at * Cross- referencing of drawings * Coordination of drawing sets (e.g roads and structures, retaining walls, drainage etc) * Development of understanding of principles of reinforcement detailing * Develop understanding of and management of Revit link files * Develop and demonstrate ability to clearly visualise the 3D revit model and understand where potential clashes are likely to eventuate. * Developing proficiency in creating and modifying structural elements in the Revit 3D model under close supervision * Developing the ability find clashes and coordinate with the relevant engineer/team members to resolve the issues * Developing the competency in knowing where and when to show sections, elevations and details in 2D/3D At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
