Mold Storage Technician

**Primary Job Responsibilities** * Pull preventive maintenance on molds and tooling. * Be able to change out components on ejection plastic molds. * Ability to use polishing stones and part washers. * Ability to drive lift truck. * Able to use Voltmeter and shop equipment. * Able to use the overhead crane to move molds and components. * Able to disassemble and reassemble molds etc. * Must be able to identify tool damage and make minor repairs with assistance from toolmakers. * Adherence to all-appropriate safety practices and procedures. * Works closely with Lead and Senior Techs. * Supports the established Quality Policy * Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions. **Knowledge & Skill Requirements:** This position should possess the following skills/knowledge: * High school graduate, GED or equivalent * Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely. * Strong math skills Good team worker **Core Values:** * Strong interpersonal skills * Speak and write English clearly and concisely. * Good team worker **Core and Critical Competencies:** The following competencies in which all employees shall have a satisfactory level of skills: *  Communication * Team Skills * Planning Skills **Technical Skills:** * Computer literate * Strong math skills, * Mechanical skills * Ability to use shop equipment. * Knowledgeable of safety, health, environmental, and HR regulations as well as policies and practices **Physical Requirements:** * Walking – frequently 4-5 hrs. * Standing – 7 hrs. * Climbing – occasionally * Squatting/Stooping – occasionally * Reaching – occasionally * Lifting  - up to 25# frequently * Lifting – 25# and over with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift) **Safety Requirements:** * The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
