The Monitoring Technician is responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. Reviews patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern and prior variances. Works cooperatively as part of a team. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

**Location:**Â Mercy Hospital St. Louis
**Schedule:**Â 6:30 PM â 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Rotating Weekends & Holidays
**Training:**Â Day shift training for the first 6â8 weeks

**What Youâll Do:**
* Monitor cardiac rhythms and alert clinical staff to changes
* Review patient data to identify patterns and variances
* Work closely with nurses and care teams to ensure patient safety
* Be a calm, focused presence during overnight hours
**What Youâll Need:**
* **Education:**Â High school diploma or GED
* **Training:** Completion of a monitor tech course _or_ passing score (85%) on our competency exam
* **Certification:**Â CRAT certification within 1 year of hire
* **Skills:**Â Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and quick decision-making under pressure
* **Experience:**Â Healthcare experience is a plus, but not requiredâweâll train you!
