Participants will contribute to different aspects of Morningstar’s business through ten-week- individual and group projects, learning about the financial services and securities industries, and gaining critical business development skills. Our interns receive hands-on mentoring from their colleagues and the People & Culture team to help them succeed at Morningstar.  **Job Responsibilities:**   * Gathering and analyzing financial data for credit ratings  * Conducting market and industry research  * Reviewing legal documents related to transactions  * Assisting in the development of financial models and cash flow engines  * Supporting the preparation of rating reports, press releases, and commentaries  * Participating in internal meetings and discussions with external stakeholders  * Learning and applying DBRS Morningstar’s rating methodologies  **Qualifications**  * Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field  * Strong analytical and communication skills  * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks  * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Excel VBA is a plus  * Familiarity with R or Python is a plus  * Interest in Structured Finance and credit markets  * A resume is required to apply.
