**Summary** **Job Description:** **MRI Tech - PRN** Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. **Job Duties:** * Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders. * Perform basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities. * Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation. * Position patients appropriately on the MRI table and provide instructions for maintaining stillness during the examination to minimize motion artifacts. **Requirements:** * Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist * Registered by the ARRT required * Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program can substitute for Associate degree requirement * BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire **Preferred Requirements:** * Two years’ experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred. ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
