You can participate in our new ambition to become a net zero company by 2050 or sooner and help the world get to net zero. ### **Would you like to discover how our diverse, hardworking people are leading the way in making energy cleaner and better – and how you can play your part in our premier team?** ### Join our Finance Team and advance your career! ### Job Purpose ### The My Services Analyst – CFIN-GR is a key member of the My Services team responsible for providing global functional and operational support for Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting (GR), Finance Data Foundation (FDF), S/4HANA Finance solutions, and associated reporting platforms. ### This role serves as the main interface between business users, finance process teams, solution analysts, and technology teams to ensure stable operations, data integrity, process compliance, and continuous improvement across the finance reporting landscape. ### The role requires a strong combination of finance process expertise, accounting knowledge, SAP system understanding, partner management, problem-solving capability, and service excellence. The successful candidate will act as a domain expert (SME) for assigned processes and solutions while supporting transformation initiatives, process improvements, user enablement, and governance activities. ### The position supports a global user community spanning Group Reporting, Financial Reporting, Business Reporting, Segment Reporting, Controllers, Business Finance teams, and Accounting Centres. ### Key Accountabilities ### Service Management & User Support * ### Provide end-to-end L2 functional support for CFIN, Group Reporting, FDF, FBW, and related finance applications. * ### Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, defects, enhancements, and user queries within agreed service levels. * ### Develop sufficient expertise to independently resolve the majority of finance process and system issues. * ### Support business users during critical reporting and period-end close activities. * ### Ensure effective coordination with Solution Analysts, SAP support teams, Data teams, and business stakeholders. ### CFIN & Group Reporting Operations * ### Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. * ### Monitor data flows across source systems, CFIN, Finance Data Foundation, FBW, and Group Reporting platforms. * ### Support Balance Carry Forward (BCF), data validations/Monitor, reconciliation activities, and reporting submissions. * ### Investigate data quality issues, posting failures, reconciliation breaks, and integration defects. * ### Support execution of Balance Sheet Assurance (BSA) and financial control processes. ### Black-Line Support & Reconciliation Governance * ### Provide operational support for BlackLine reconciliation and task management processes. * ### Support balance sheet reconciliations and Period End Close activities. * ### Monitor BlackLine reconciliation completion status and proactively engage stakeholders to resolve aged items. * ### Investigate reconciliation exceptions, unmatched balances, and system integration issues. * ### Support BlackLine user access management, configuration testing, and process improvements. * ### Provide governance reporting and KPI tracking related to reconciliation performance. * ### Collaborate with Controllers, Accounting Centres and Business Finance teams to drive reconciliation compliance. * ### Support audit, SOX, and control requirements associated with BlackLine processes. ### Data Governance & Controls * ### Promote adherence to finance governance, policies, standards, and control requirements. * ### Perform monitoring activities to ensure data integrity across finance reporting solutions. * ### Support root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions. * ### Maintain process documentation, knowledge repositories, and operational controls. * ### Support SOX, audit, compliance, and control testing requirements. ### Business Process & Continuous Improvement * ### Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and service improvements. * ### Support implementation of enhancements and transformations within the CFIN-GR landscape. * ### Participate in testing activities, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release validation. * ### Support solution adoption and stabilization following deployments. * ### Contribute to business cases and continuous improvement initiatives. ### Learning & Knowledge Management * ### Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process maps, and knowledge articles. * ### Develop learning content utilizing tools such as SAP Enable Now, Articulate Rise 360, and other digital learning platforms. * ### Deliver user training, awareness sessions, and onboarding programs. * ### Act as a process SME to support capability-building across the finance community. ### Stakeholder Engagement * ### Build strong relationships with finance users, business stakeholders, and support teams globally. * ### Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * ### Support governance meetings, user forums, operational reviews, and leadership reporting. * ### Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on operational trends and recurring issues. ### Key Challenges * ### Supporting critical financial reporting processes with strict timelines and high business visibility. * ### Managing multiple priorities during period-end close cycles. * ### Resolving complex cross-functional issues spanning finance, data, and technology domains. * ### Balancing operational support responsibilities with transformation and improvement initiatives. * ### Working across multiple geographies, stakeholders, and time zones. ### Scope & Impact * ### Global scope supporting finance users across multiple business entities and regions. * ### Direct impact on financial reporting accuracy, data quality, compliance, and close cycle performance. * ### Supports business-critical CFIN, Group Reporting, Finance Data Foundation, and reporting solutions. * ### Works closely with Group Reporting teams, Controllers, Business Finance, Data Management, Digital Solutions, and Transformation teams. ### Qualifications, Experience & Competencies ### Education * ### CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or equivalent finance qualification. * ### Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or related discipline. ### Experience * ### 6–12 years of experience in Finance Operations, Financial Reporting, Group Reporting, Shared Services, or Finance Transformation environments. * ### Group reporting, Central Finance and S4 Hana understanding. * ### Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial accounting principles. * ### Experience supporting finance systems and business users in a multinational environment. * ### Experience in incident management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement. * ### Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. ### Technical Expertise * ### Good knowledge of SAP Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Group Reporting. * ### Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), Finance Data Foundation (FDF), BW/4HANA, and reporting solutions. * ### Knowledge of financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes. * ### Familiarity with data reconciliation and financial controls. * ### Experience with ServiceNow, SAP Enable Now, Articulate Rise 360, Power BI, Excel, and reporting tools is desirable. ### Preferred Systems
