This role offers exposure to real-world security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident reporting while working closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** **Vulnerability Assessment** * Assist in conducting regular vulnerability scans on networks and systems. * Analyse findings and support remediation and risk mitigation efforts. **Security Monitoring & Detection** * Support monitoring of network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools. * Assist in identifying, escalating, and responding to potential security threats. **Patch & Configuration Management** * Track security patches and updates to ensure systems remain secure and compliant. * Support patch deployment and verification activities. **Documentation & Reporting** * Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and dashboards. * Assist in analysing security data and generating reports using tools such as Splunk. **Security Awareness & Support** * Support security awareness initiatives and internal training programmes. * Assist in promoting best practices for network and information security. **Preferred Skills / Qualifications** * Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, Cybersecurity**, or a related field. * Basic understanding of **network protocols, network security, and cybersecurity concepts**. * Familiarity with security tools such as **SIEM platforms**, vulnerability scanning tools, or network monitoring systems is an advantage. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a cybersecurity environment. * Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. **Why Join Us?** * Gain practical cybersecurity experience with a leading telecommunications organisation. * Learn from industry professionals and work with real-world security tools. * Develop foundational skills in network security, threat detection, and risk management. * Build a strong pathway towards a career in cybersecurity and IT security operations. **Internship Duration:** Up to **6 months from September** **Location:** Subang Hi-Tech **Application Process** Submit your resume and cover letter through our career portal.
