**Summary**
The Neuropsychology Fellow performs neuropsychological evaluations under the supervision of a clinical neuropsychologist with adult patients (18+ years of age) for the assessment of cognitive and psychological functioning to address a referral question.
**Job Description**
The evaluation includes patient consult, neuropsychological test administration and scoring, report writing and discussion of results with the patient. The detailed neuropsychological reports are written using information from the patient's medical history, clinical interview, test results, and self-report measures. The fellow forms the case conceptualization, formulates diagnostic impressions and provides recommendations. The results/impression are discussed with the supervising clinical neuropsychologist who also edits the final report. The results of the evaluation are provided to the patient and their family with a discussion of recommendations. This role functions within a formal two year post-doctoral fellowship that provides in-depth training opportunities to master the core responsibilities of the role. The fellowship follows the Houston Conference Guidelines, leading to board certification eligibility. The fellowship provides opportunities in advanced neuropsychological assessment, advanced understanding of the brain-behavior relationship, and scholarly activity such as research project for publication. There are also scheduled didactics on a weekly basis as well as weekly supervision with the department training director. The fellow is formally evaluated every six months during the two year program.
**Qualifications**
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a preferred Neuro Track.
