Job Description: ---------------- • Fitzroy location • Friendly and supportive team environment • Part time (0.5 EFT) fixed term position until 17th September 2027 **About the Role** You will be working as a Grade 2 Nuclear Medicine Technologist in both the general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments at SVHM. We are committed to providing training and education, and offer regular continuing professional development for staff.   \* Under the direction of the senior Nuclear Medicine Technologists, you will provide quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations in a safe environment.  \* Excellent technical and clinical skills. \* Experience in the handling and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. \* Excellent communication skills. \* Awareness of all aspects of radiation safety as they pertain to the practices of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Classifications for this position will range from **CJ7 – CT7**. **Your Contribution** \* Bachelor of Applied Science / Medical Radiations in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent \* Current Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist \* Radiation use licence issued by the Department of Health \* Ability to perform diagnostic CT within the hybrid imaging environment (desired but not essential) \* Experience sufficient to permit eligibility for accreditation by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) \* Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain **What we Offer** • In the heart of Fitzroy, CBD at our doorstep, close to some of Melbourne’s best cafes, public transport and lots of carparks • Discounts and Promotions always available through our Foundation • Regular opportunities for professional development to assist you to reach your career goals • Culture of continuous improvement **About** The Nuclear Medicine and PET departments at St Vincents Hospital Melbourne offer a full range of both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. We are equipped with 4 gamma cameras (2 in the public hospital and 2 in SVPR) and a PET/CT scanner.
