**Job Summary:**
Post Trade is responsible for maintaining the orderly, fair and expeditious clearing and settlement arrangements for the securities, on exchange derivatives and OTC derivatives markets. Depository & Participant Services provides central securities depository, custody and participant services of stocks and structured products. The team also provides hotline and training services to investors and clearing participants.
**Job Duties:**
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Carry out daily depository operations in accordance with established rules, procedures and policies of the clearing houses
* Daily operations include but not limited to, physical certificates handling, provide counter service, daily reconciliation, vault inventory management, generating MIS reports for management’s review
* Propose appropriate operational flow changes to enhance the day-to-day operational efficiency
* Support various automation and process reengineering initiatives to eliminate manual and redundant tasks
* Undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior
* Identify exceptional cases / contingency situations and escalate to management
**Job Requirements:**
* University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines
* Knowledge of clearing / settlement / nominees/custodial operations in Hong Kong and Global markets
* At least 2-3 years’ of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organization
* Demonstrated proactivity, adaptability, innovation, and ability to manage multiple tasks; excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
* Intellectual curiosity to investigate underlying causes and implications of issues
* Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience in data analysis and report preparation is preferred.
