In this position, you will work with assembly drawings and measuring devices to properly wind bushings to match the customer’s specifications. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Work with Kampf-Stahlkontor and Menzel winding machines, overhead cranes, lifting devices to successfully wind bushings * May be required to provide information to maintenance, engineering and/or quality assurance about the performance of the winding equipment * Must be able to work within team structure with minimal supervision * Continuous training on new equipment or new processes within the condenser winding area and based upon additional assignments * Use vacuum cleaners, standard and special hand tools, winding templates, tape measure, calibers and other measuring devices as needed to complete windings * Willingness to cross-train between condenser bushing winding machines * Must be able to operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed to perform job functions * Able to stand and/or walk on hard surfaces for up to 10 hours per day * Able to regularly pick up and manipulate up to 35 pounds safely **Your Background:** * High School Graduate or GED * One year of experience in a manufacturing setting reading and interrupting assembly drawings **_Equal Employment Opportunity_** **_(EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities_** ** Equal Employment Opportunity** **Hitachi is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
