As an AC Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing Accounts Payable with our Accounting Channel partners, a critical and growing segment of our business. This role sits at the heart of the partner relationship, helping accounting firms and their clients get fully configured, integrated, and activated on the BILL AP platform. You will drive speed-to-value through hands-on software implementation, accounting system integrations, and best-practice guidance that sets partners and their clients up for long-term success.
Lead end-to-end AP implementation for new Accounting Channel partners and their clients
Guide partners through platform configuration, accounting software integrations, and initial setup
Drive activation within onboarding engagements, ensuring clients are live and transacting as quickly as possible
Deliver a high-quality implementation experience that builds partner confidence and long-term platform adoption
Serve as the product and workflow expert for AP, helping partners understand best practices and key configuration requirements
Identify implementation risks, blockers, or gaps in real time and work quickly to resolve them
Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and system records throughout the implementation process
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and the broader Accounting Channel team to ensure a seamless partner experience
Reinforce a consistent, scalable implementation motion that supports both partner outcomes and business growth
Contribute feedback on partner pain points, integration challenges, and opportunities to improve the implementation journey
What you'll be doing
Manage day-to-day AP implementation engagements with Accounting Channel partners and their clients
Guide partners through initial setup, accounting software integrations, and AP workflow configuration with quality and urgency
Help partners and clients understand how to use the BILL AP platform and adopt core workflows as quickly as possible
Deliver clear, confident communication that creates a positive, efficient, and professional implementation experience
Surface risks, integration issues, and partner needs early to help improve implementation success rates
Support organizational initiatives tied to platform adoption, activation, and scalable implementation execution within the Accounting Channel
Contribute feedback on partner pain points, process gaps, and opportunities to improve the implementation journey
We’d love to chat if you have
2+ years of experience in software implementation, onboarding, customer success, or a similar role
An accredited bachelor's degree
Hands-on experience implementing or supporting accounting software — NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, or QuickBooks experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with AP workflows, accounting processes, or financial operations
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with accounting professionals and their clients
A track record of guiding clients through complex software setups, integrations, and go-live milestones
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing implementation activities and documentation
Comfort navigating technical configurations, integration questions, and multi-stakeholder engagements
Experience in SaaS, fintech, or financial software is preferred
Experience working with or within accounting firms or the Accounting Channel is a plus

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
