Job Description
**Job Summary:** Operational Excellence supervisor role reporting to Ian Francis. You will be expected to manage a multi disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab and provide continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning and Execution.
* Supervise their safety in manufacturing environment
* Responsible for employee safety training and compliance to expectations
* Direct and coordinate the development activities for team
* Own execution to all quality and delivery expectations including, but not limited to, product inspections and Equipment PMs
* Provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction for the Supervisors direct reports
* Schedule shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer
* Own Equipment PM performance metrics on shift
* Own Sustainer Disposition metrics on shift
* Develop training plans and staffing requirements for direct reports
* Drive projects & achieve goals for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics
* Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure quality work is performed
* Teach, coach and mentor through development of the cultural attributes of Total Quality
* Provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager
**Job Qualifications:**
* 5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred
* BS or equivalent in a related field is preferred but not required.
* Must have demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making
* Understanding of business and management principles and practices preferred
* Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures preferred
* Must be proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
* Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams
* Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality
* Previous leadership/supervision experience is a plus
* Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience is a plus
