### Operations Manager **Position Type:** Full-Time | Remote **Working Hours:** U.S. Business Hours ### About the Role At [Pavago](https://himalayas.app/companies/pavago), we are hiring for one of our clients seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to become the operational right hand to the founder of a rapidly growing U.S.-based lending company. This role will focus on managing day-to-day operations, coordinating projects and third-party vendors, improving processes, and creating the structure needed to scale the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive operator who enjoys solving problems, building systems from scratch, and taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment. This is an operational leadership role, not a customer service or loan officer position. ### Responsibilities ### Operations & Project Management * Manage day-to-day operational execution across the business. * Own project timelines, priorities, deliverables, and follow-ups. * Coordinate cross-functional teams, technology vendors, legal partners, servicing partners, and third-party providers. * Work closely with the founder to prioritize initiatives and remove operational roadblocks. ### Process & Systems Improvement * Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions. * Build scalable SOPs, workflows, checklists, and documentation. * Improve CRM workflows, operational automations, and internal processes. * Help create systems that support the company's growth and future hiring. ### Lending Operations & Documentation * Review, organize, and maintain lending documentation for accuracy and consistency. * Coordinate document mapping across loan systems, CRM, DocuSign, and servicing platforms. * Ensure policies, disclosures, privacy documents, and platform communications remain consistent. * Support operational readiness as the company expands into additional states. ### Technology & Vendor Coordination * Serve as the primary operational point of contact with the outsourced software development team. * Report bugs, coordinate testing, and follow up on platform improvements. * Coordinate implementation and integration requirements across third-party systems. * Ensure vendors and technology partners deliver against agreed timelines and requirements. ### Growth & Team Support * Support the founder with operational planning and execution. * Assist with recruiting and onboarding future operations team members. * Help establish processes and systems that allow new specialists to integrate effectively as the company grows. ### What Makes You a Perfect Fit * You naturally take ownership and don't wait to be told what needs to be done. * You enjoy turning ambiguity and operational chaos into clear processes. * You are comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment. * You are highly organized and can manage several priorities without losing track of details. * You think like an owner and proactively identify problems before they become larger issues. * You are comfortable coordinating people, technology, vendors, and processes simultaneously. ### Required Experience & Skills * 5+ years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Business Operations, Program Management, or a similar role. * Proven experience working in a startup or founder-led business. * Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills. * Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously. * Experience coordinating third-party vendors and external partners. * Strong process improvement and documentation skills. * Experience working with operational workflows and business systems. * Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment where priorities can shift quickly. ### Interview Process * Initial screening with [Pavago](https://himalayas.app/companies/pavago). * Client interview * Final selection and onboarding Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
