If you're a driven, people-focused leader looking to step into broader operational ownership and fast-track your career, this is your opportunity. **Our Culture** * **Integrity:** We do what we say we’ll do * **Respect:** We value our people, customers, and communities * **Empowerment:** Leaders here are trusted to make decisions and drive results **What You’ll Do** As an Operations Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day hauling, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and toilet service operations while developing your leadership team and driving performance across safety, service, and profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise hourly employees and frontline supervisors at our hauling site, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and portable toilet service. * Monitor routes and staffing; adjust resources in real time to meet service demands * Partner with the Site Manager on budgeting and P&L performance * Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of frontline leaders * Assist in creating/managing policies and procedures * Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices * Handle and resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency * Oversee environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance * Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals * Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset **What We’re Looking For** * 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment * Proven ability to manage large teams and shifting priorities * Experience with operations, logistics, or field-based teams * Exposure to budgeting or P&L management * Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills * Proficient in Excel and business systems * Bachelor’s degree preferred * Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities **What Sets You Apart** * Hands-on leader who thrives **both in the field and in the office** * Strong coach and mentor who develops future leaders * Comfortable operating in **high-accountability, fast-moving environments** * Safety-focused with experience in **regulated industries** **To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at** [**www.careers.wasteconnections.com**](http://www.careers.wasteconnections.com) **.
