Operator Forklift - Grade 2

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ **SUMMARY:**   The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following: * Responsible for reading customer’s orders. * Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form. * Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift. * Wand/scan product correctly. * Keep loading dock clean. * Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This position will not have supervisory responsibility. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** * **Required** * Forklift training certificate * **Preferred** * None _George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
