The ideal candidate will deliver accurate refractions, guide patients through virtual vision assessments, and ensure thorough documentation in EMR systems—all while upholding exceptional standards of professionalism and patient care. **Prior experience in teleconsultation is strongly preferred.** ### Key Responsibilities: * Perform comprehensive and precise refractions using digital or manual phoropters. * Deliver remote optometry support to U.S. clinics via secure and compliant telehealth systems. * Guide patients through virtual vision assessments with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. * Accurately document clinical findings and patient data within EMR systems. * Communicate effectively with patients, on-site clinical staff, and remote care teams. * Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to ensure seamless telehealth sessions. * Maintain strict patient confidentiality, uphold accurate record-keeping, and consistently demonstrate exceptional patient care. ### Requirements * Must hold a **Doctor of Optometry (OD)** or an equivalent degree recognized in the Philippines. * **Teleconsultation experience is highly preferred.** * At least **2 year of practical experience** in clinical optometry or refraction. * Familiarity with **digital or automated phoropters** is an advantage. * Strong command of **English**, both verbal and written. * Demonstrates **excellent communication skills**, professionalism, and strong attention to detail. * Amenable to working **night shifts** in alignment with U.S. time zones. * Open to completing **HIPAA** and **telehealth compliance** training requirements.
